Remarks	Roy Panton in 2015: "As far as I can remember, I was one of the vocalists for 'The Los Caballeros' along with Desmond Tucker. Sammy Ismay was the Band Leader at that point, so Mr Johnson the owner of the Band also Johnson's Drive Inn decided that he wanted to do some recording with the band so he suggested to me that he would like a song about Rude Boys. So that is how "Beware Rudie" came about. The backup singer was Desmond Tucker, the music arrangement was done by Carl Bryan the Alto Sax player.
