House Of Joy was the name used in Jamaica by sound men for the the huge wooden speakers that powered the early dancehalls. This box set,designed to replicate the original speaker design, contains fifteen rare Studio One singles as well as a poster, booklet, 45 adapter, and a keychain, and is compiled from the extensive Studio One catalogue to honor the pioneering Jamaican sound man Clement Dodd, the real Godfather Of Reggae who started recording in the early 1950s.
A former Record Store Day release, this is a stunning looking package and a must for all hardcore collectors.
