Excellent reissue of a deep UK roots tune that was barely released in the first place! Lambeth based musical collective the Mystic Radics, named in honour of the legendary Jamaican session conglomerate the Roots Radics, cut this tune in 1984 and pressed a miniscule 250 copies to an indifferent world. Nation Wide would probably have languished in total obscurity were it not for it being aired in the mid-nineties on KISS FM's Manasseh show when Jah Shaka was a guest. Tapes of the show have circulated amongst roots fans since then and the tune has grown in reputation amongst the cognoscenti until it gains a release here through Reel-Heavy Music which brougfht us rare reissues from Zen Bow and Norris Regal. Included on this 12" is the original vocal and dub - mixed by Mad Professor - and two previously unreleased cuts, a dub and an alternative vocal mix found on the original reel.
