Remarks Style-Generator by PHENOM MELODY was after ‘Fang ah’ the second long player by Swiss Reggae singer Phenomden. This concept album was created as a ‘special project’, celebrating the Jamaican digital Dancehall music of the 1980s.

The original vinyl was printed 2007 in Kingston, and the back of the cover is showing illustrations by Phenomden himself, signing as ‘Phenomious’ in honour of the design artist Limonious.

Style-Generator was produced by ‘Belly Ranking’, the guitar player of the The Scrucialists, and is also featuring Stereo Luchs for the very first time on a record. The entire album is performed in ‘Mundart’, the Swiss patois, a German roots language.

The 2025 album can be seen as ‘remastered’ edition, with even better sound quality than the original pressing.
