Remarks	After circulating through the Kingston soundsystem Scene and singing live on many sessions in the early eighties it was Lindon Andrew Roberts aka Half Pint who became a big artist in the year 1983. With huge releases like „Winsome“ or „Sally“ under his belt the jamaican studio doors opened wide when the former Waterhouse Ghetto singer showed up to drop a new tune. Of course the legendary Channel One studio located in the rather rough Maxfield Avenue area was a focus point for many artists and of like many others Half Pint was a regular visitor. Based on an updated version of Real Rock riddim it was a tough sounding instrumental done by the ever present Roots Radics Band which caught his attention. It resulted in the great sing-a-long soundsystem classic „Posse Are You Ready“ produced by Soljie. A go 42 years later this is the first ever official re-release authorised by the Hookim family.
