The original release of this essential DJ-album dates back to 1977. Prince Jammy's had just returned to Jamaica after spending some years in Canada and started his own studio in Waterhouse. Black Uhuru’s debut was recorded in this time as well as an album by The Travellers. “Westbound Thing A Swing” contains a lot of dubs from these two LP’s and U Black is riding them in fine style!
