Remarks A great tune rooted in the days of the early seventies, when Scrubbing was a must. This one was for Treasure Isle with Willie Lindo at the controls. Which would suggest that Willie on guitar was doing the scrubbing. The harmonies create images of country life – and so do the lyrics. Today these kind of tunes are held in disdain, yet back then- they were made reggae music great. Artists like Justin Hines and the Dominoes, and The Maytones – are two great examples. Add to that – The Africans – great works.
