Donovan George Pinnock (aka Dona-V) was born in the district of victoria town of jamacia wi.Although he sang at a very young age Dona v initally started his musical career as a deejay in the early 80s. It proved not his calling and decided to start singing again.In 1986 he recorded his 1st tune with producer harry J however his first realease were by new york based producer Jah C.During the 90s dona v recorded several singles but it only lasted till year 2000 before his 1st album (Cry For Tommorow) Studio One was realeased.
