Remarks Second compilation of the true legends of the Jamaican reggae and heroes of the first hour - analog recorded under the open sky with passion, verve and unbroken creativity. Real does not work. The huge surprise hit of the debut album ┬╗Inna De Yard: The Soul of Jamaica┬ź in 2017, an album criticized for being the unquestionably best reggae album of the year - and beyond, inspired the true veterans of the roots reggae to theirs next, this, project.

The basic idea is to bring the legends of Jamaican reggae back into the limelight: Inna de Yard brings together four great vocalists of the first hour who have gone their separate ways over the years: Ken Boothe, Cedric Myton, Winston McAnuff and Kiddus I. Next to them are more artists on the album, The Viceroys, a trio that is also in their 70s today, some younger voices and several guests, like Horace Andy and Judy Mowatt, one of Bob Marley's background singers. They re-record their greatest hits, not in the high-tech recording studio, but in the backyards and streets of Jamaica, Inna de Yard, creating an analog, grounded, and full sound that lets us experience the lifeblood of the pieces played and sung.
