Remarks	Mexicano was massive at this time – not in Jamaica – but in the UK. Jamaica was rammed with great deejays at the time, but such was the popularity of the deejay scene - it was time for a UK deejay to step forward and make his mark. Did he ever work a sound – very unlikely – but he captured the moment very well. And then of course you have the rhythm ‘Marcus Garvey' produced by Sidney Crooks – which sounded identical to the rhythm of Jack Ruby’s Burning Spear’s production.
