Remarks

Killer dubplate business from Gussie Clarke's vaults, the top side taken directly from acetate, raw and intense, replete with that Bible quoting Cherokee that Lee Perry also used somewhere. Side Two features three direct from mster tape cuts of the same wicked rhythm which, oddly, is not the same Gussie cut to Guiding Star that Dub Vendor issued as Classical Illusion back in 1979, but is instead a cut to Simplicity People's Creative Feeling, a dub cut to which appeared on Gussie's Black Foundaion Dub LP as Rocking Vibration. Though, apparently the tape they were taken from was marked as Classical Illusion / The Sun, so who knows?
